Aragon has been in development since 2020 with a focus on meeting the needs of Georgia Power and the customers it serves. We are committed to working with the Polk County community and keeping stakeholders involved throughout the development process.

Community Benefits

Aragon will be a good neighbor and a valuable asset to the surrounding community for decades to come, offering economic growth benefits. Modernizing the grid to improve resilience in turn improves quality of life and regional economic development, enhancing prosperity for the community and Northern Georgia. As a static facility located in Polk County, with insignificant traffic and minimal municipal services, Aragon will have little impact on adjacent properties.
